6/29 N*E*R*D @ Jimmy Kimmel Live Outdoor Stage in Hollywood

I apologize in advance for my Blackberry Tour's shoddy camera, kinda wishing I had a shiny new iPhone 4 at the moment.  Anyways back to the show..

I caught N*E*R*D's set at Kimmel last night and had a great time.  Shows at Kimmel are a great way to start off your night.  They start early, usually around 8pm and usually finish within half an hour, leaving time to go do something else after.  Did I mention they're completely FREE.  Parking is just $2 with validation (for 4 hours!) if you park in the Hollywood and Highland structure across the street.  All you have to do is go to the Jimmy Kimmel website to reserve your tickets

N*E*R*D did songs off their upcoming album Nothing to be released July 6th.  They started off the set with 'Hot-n-Fun', followed by 'Party People', and then did 'Hot-n-Fun' again because the crew messed up with taping it.  They did 2 other songs I don't recall the names of and then finished with the crowd pleaser 'She Wants to Move.'  By the end of that song, everyone threw their hands in the air reppin the star trek.

The crowd was very diverse, wide range of ages and ethnicities.  Surprisingly, I didn't see any Hypebeasts rocking Billionaire Boys Club or Bape, but I did see a sea of plaid.  Guess Pharrell's fan base is a-changing or I'm way behind in the streewear game.
